This week I want to share a video with you from the Youtube channel smarter every day. This video made me think about my own role in political conflicts. And you will be surprised how weapons in the future will look like.

I’ve kept this side of my life off the internet intentionally for 15 years. It’s been strange being a dual YouTuber/Missile Tester, because obviously this side of my life feels very important and the main driver for many of my life decisions. I’m more than just a person who makes videos and puts them on YouTube, and I feel like I’m kind of introducing you to the other side of me with this video. – Destin from smarter every day

The next thing I want to share is a bit more on the technical side but it is a clever way to understand resistors and a really nice example how to use them. At first meet Karen with her beautiful series The Learning Circuit to learn what resistors really are.

Speaking of resistance the EU Parliament will decide over a new copyright reform which will may cause many harm to small content producers. I attached a link to a protest from Wikipedia. They will switch off there german service for one day. Here the article for english speakers only. The public protests against the reform are planned for the 23th of march.

The proposed reform includes some protections for access to knowledge, including greater access to public domain and out of commerce works, but also contains some seriously problematic provisions that threaten many ideals central to the Wikimedia movement. Articles 11 and 13, which respectively establish a news publishers right and liability on platforms for user uploads, will harm freedom of expression across Europe and impede the development of free knowledge resources like Wikipedia in the future.

This week we worked a lot with VR technology and I think one of the most advantages are the ability to switch your point of view to anything. Like an animal or a leaf or a robot. So I wondered if anyone used it to switch his/her gender and I found this.

I did not tried it but I will next week so either you try it your self or you go the cliffhanger rout and wait for the next entry where I share my experience.
