From October 10 to 14, the 15th edition of METAFORMY International Meetings of Puppetry Schools took place at the S. Wyspianski Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow, Wrocław branch.
The festival is conceived as an exchange of tropes and directions followed by puppet theater. Wrocław became a meeting point of traditional puppet forms with a new language of form. Leoni Voegelin artistic collaborator from the Spiel und Objekt program and Andree Gubisch voice teacher in the puppetry department were also invited to held a two-day workshop.
Among other workshops and experiments with light, image and sound, the participants in the workshop of Leoni Voegelin and Andree Gubisch could get acquainted with electronics and self-designed puppets, wire their own circuits and take a walk in a moonscape in unity. We had a lot of fun and were happy to get to know the AST branch in Wroclaw!
